About Christian Shepherd
Christian Shepherd is a free resource for Bible study, built to help believers dig deeper into God's Word.
Every study is crafted with care: rooted in Scripture, centered on Christ, and written for clarity. These are not academic papers. They are tools for your walk with God.
Bible Navigation
On the right side of every page, you'll see a blue Bible button. This opens the Bible Navigation Sidebar -- a complete reference tool for all 66 books of the Bible.
Here's how to use it:
- Click the Bible button to open the sidebar with a full list of all 66 books
- Click a book name (e.g., Genesis, John) to expand its chapters
- Click a chapter (e.g., Ch 1, Ch 4) to see linked Bible studies for that chapter
- Click the Bible button again to close the sidebar
Chapters with available studies are marked with a blue dot and linked directly to the relevant study. As we add more studies, this navigation will continue to grow, eventually covering every chapter of the Bible.
This feature lets you jump quickly to any part of Scripture and see which studies are available -- making it easy to explore the Bible book by book, chapter by chapter.
Theology
These studies are written from an Oneness Apostolic Pentecostal perspective, in alignment with the United Pentecostal Church International (UPCI). We believe:
- Jesus Christ is the one true God manifest in the flesh (1 Timothy 3:16)
- God is one Person, revealed in different titles and manifestations, not three separate persons
- Salvation is found in the name of Jesus Christ alone
- Baptism is in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins (Acts 2:38)
- The baptism of the Holy Spirit is a subsequent experience with the evidence of speaking in tongues (Acts 2:4)
- The King James Bible is the Word of God in English
Why Free?
The Word of God should be free. These studies are offered at no cost because the gospel is free, and every believer deserves access to sound teaching regardless of their ability to pay.
You are welcome to use these studies for personal study, small groups, Sunday school, or any church setting. Just give God the glory.
